Frequently Asked Questions
-
I bring 20 years of experience across marketing strategy, creative direction, design, and production together under one roof.
That means I’m not just thinking about how something looks. I’m thinking about the business objective, audience, story, channel, and how the work fits into your larger marketing ecosystem.
And because I can carry that thinking from strategy through execution, the insight that starts the work doesn’t get lost on the way to the final deliverable.
You get the strategic thinking and multidisciplinary capabilities of an agency with the speed, flexibility, and direct access of working with one senior creative partner.

-
Absolutely. You don’t need to start over to work with me.
If your strategy, brief, messaging, or creative direction already exists, I can plug in and execute against it. If something is missing or isn’t working, I can help identify the gap before we start creating.
I meet your team where the work is, rather than forcing every project through the same process. -
Yes. In fact, that’s one of the situations where my model works particularly well.
I can function as an extension of your marketing team across campaigns, presentations, websites, advertising, email, social media, video, brand design, print, and more.
Because I understand marketing as well as creative, you don’t have to translate the strategy into designer speak or manage every step of execution. Give me the context and objective and I can help take it from there.
-
Yes. You don’t necessarily need to throw everything away and start again.
I can step into work already in progress, identify what’s working and what isn’t, and determine the fastest path forward. That might mean refining the strategy, redesigning specific pieces, finishing an incomplete project, or simply bringing greater consistency to what already exists.
The goal is to preserve what’s good, fix what isn’t, and get the project moving again.
-
Yes, but that doesn’t mean I insist on doing everything myself.
I personally lead the strategy, creative direction, and work we agree I’ll execute, while bringing in trusted specialists when a project benefits from additional expertise or capacity.
I have a network of collaborators across video editing, motion graphics, animation, sound, SEO, and content writing that I can bring into an engagement as needed.
You still work through me as your primary point of contact. I assemble and manage the right resources behind the scenes so you don’t suddenly inherit another team to manage.
-
Absolutely.
I can lead the work or simply own the piece you need help with. I regularly adapt to existing strategies, brand systems, workflows, and teams rather than requiring everything to run through my process.
That also makes me a flexible resource for agencies, consultants, marketers, and designers who need additional senior creative capacity without adding permanent headcount.
-
Yes. I can work behind the scenes as an extension of an agency, consultancy, marketing team, or independent strategist.
Whether you need additional capacity, capabilities you don’t currently offer, or someone senior enough to take ownership without extensive hand holding, I can plug into your existing process while respecting the client relationship you’ve built.
-
Yes.
My model is intentionally built to move quickly. Many defined projects can be completed within a week, and typical revision rounds can often be turned around within one to two business days.
I can also accommodate rush projects when availability and scope allow. Because strategy, creative, project management, and execution don’t have to travel through multiple departments, I can often move significantly faster than a traditional agency structure.
-
Pricing depends on the scope, complexity, timeline, and deliverables, and I can develop a custom engagement around your needs and budget.
Because you’re working directly with me rather than supporting layers of agency infrastructure and account management, my pricing can often be significantly lower than a comparable agency engagement.
Need several projects? I can bundle them together. Need undefined support for a period of time? I can also create a temporary retainer model.
The goal is to build the right scope, not sell you the biggest one.

-
Yes. I offer discounted pricing for qualifying nonprofit organizations.
I’ve worked with mission driven organizations and understand the reality of balancing ambitious goals with limited marketing budgets.
When possible, I can also help identify ways to simplify the scope, prioritize the work that will have the greatest impact, and make smarter use of the assets and resources you already have.

-
Yes. My startup experience is actually a major influence on how I work.
I understand that early stage companies often need senior thinking without the budget or need for a large marketing department. I can help translate what you know about your product into positioning, stories, campaigns, brands, websites, presentations, and content that other people can quickly understand.
And I’m accustomed to figuring out what we can do with the resources we have rather than making the idea dependent on resources we don’t.
-
Not at all.
You can come to me with a detailed brief, a half formed idea, a problem you haven’t figured out how to solve, or simply a long list of things that need to get done.
Part of my job is determining what the work actually requires.
For ongoing or undefined needs, I can also create a temporary retainer for a defined period of time, giving your team flexible access to strategy, creative, design, and production support as priorities evolve.
-
I work across 360 campaigns, advertising, brand identity, book design and publishing, email design, print and marketing collateral, sales presentations, pitch decks, keynotes, social media strategy and management, websites, video, and Reels.
But the advantage isn’t simply that I do a lot of things.
It’s that I understand how they work together.
Strategy informs the idea. The idea informs the story. The story informs the design. And the design becomes part of a larger system built to move people from attention to action.
-
Yes, project management including securing collaborative and stakeholder feedback and approvals is a critical component of a project’s success. I also use my twenty years of experience to take advantage of process efficiencies, while also ensuring contingency plans are in place.
